The leukocyte alkaline phosphatase (LAP) activities were investigated histochemically with the Tomonagas naphthol AS-MX phosphate method in 38 pregnant women at delivery and their 38 newborns and umbilical cords after delivery in the Wallace Memorial Baptist Hospital in Busan from March to September, 1976.
